NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Athletic Department will host its Fourth Annual Privateer Golf Classic presented by
Payroll Rx on Friday, Oct. 30 at the
Bayou Oaks Golf Club in New Orleans City Park.
The annual classic benefits the student-athletes of the University of New Orleans.
"Your investment through the Privateer Golf Classic will support the Privateer Scholarship Fund and have a direct impact our 198 student-athletes," said
Tim Duncan, Director of Athletics. "We look forward to seeing our alumni, fans, corporate partners, donors and friends of #NOLAsTeam at our annual event."
The day will feature 18 holes of golf with staggered tee times beginning at 8 AM CT to assure the health and safety of all participants due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A post classic meal and reception will begin at approximately 1 PM and continue throughout the afternoon as golfers conclude their rounds.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
The cost of the event is $200 for individuals or $750 per foursome. The price includes green fee, cart rental, tournament prizes, a special gift and food and beverage throughout the duration of the classic.
For those just looking to attend the reception, it is $30 for individuals and $50 per couple.
The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle that gives a Privateer supporter the chance to win up to $10,000, with the rest of the money benefiting the athletic department.
