Freshman Jacqueline Dianis to Sing National Anthem Tomorrow

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans freshman guard Jacqueline Dianis will sing the national anthem prior to the 3:01 p.m. tip-off at Lakefront Arena Saturday afternoon. The Privateers will host SFA on ESPN+.
 
Dianis joined the Privateers in 2020-21. The business major and Washington, D.C. native is the daughter of Judith Browne Dianis, executive director of Advancement Project National Office and lawyer, professor and civil rights advocate in the movement for racial justice. Jacqueline Dianis sang the national anthem several times at the White House during the President Barack Obama administration.
 
ESPN+ will run a feature pregame on Dianis. Be sure to follow along on social media and on ESPN+ as the Privateers take on the Ladyjacks at 3:01 p.m. at Lakefront Arena.
