NEW ORLEANS, La.-The New Orleans (2-7) men's basketball program will host neighborhood rival Dillard (8-1) as its final non-conference matchup on its home court Monday at 7 p.m. CT. The Privateers own the all-time series record 5-0, with the most recent meeting being a 93-66 win at the UNO Lakefront Arena Jan. 11, 2022.
Tomorrow's game will be broadcast on ESPN + and NASH 106.1 FM with Jude Young and Tic Price calling the action.
ABOUT THE BLEU DEVILS (8-1)
Currently on an eight-game win streak, the Bleu Devils are led by first-year head coach and 7th-round draft pick of the Washington Bullets Joseph Price. The team's lead scorer, Kenyon Duling, averages 20.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Dillard recorded its only loss against 2021-22 NAIA National Champions Loyola New Orleans back in November but beat the wolf pack 70-64 at home Dec. 11.
Following tomorrow's matchup, it's wheels up for the Privateers as they travel to West Lafayette, Ind. to face the #1 team in the country in the Purdue Boilermakers Dec. 21.
