MacMillan's 11-Kills Not Enough To Get UNO Past LSU

The University of New Orleans women's volleyball team fell 0-3 (23-30, 20-30, 25-30) to LSU in Baton Rouge tonight. Senior middle blocker Ann MacMillan led the Privateers with 11 kills and a .368 attack percentage, while junior Alison Howard had 34 assists and 10 digs.

Tonight's match was the 50th in the all-time series and was the 48 win for the Tigers, including its sixth straight and second this season. UNO and LSU met in early September at the NOKIA Sugar Bowl Classic with the same outcome.

The Privateers return to action on Saturday, October 13th against Sun Belt Conference foe, Florida International at 7:00 p.m. Please note, the match will take place on the main Lakefront Arena floor due to construction in the auxiliary gym. Tickets are still available through the Lakefront Arena Box Office.
