Stallsworth and Caravella Lead Four With Double-Digit Kills at Western Kentucky

The University of New Orleans women's volleyball team fell at Western Kentucky, 1-3 (19-30, 32-30, 28-30, 24-30)on Friday, October 19th.

Sophomore Kneckie Stallsworth tied her career-high with 15 kills and had a team-best .481 hitting percentage (15-2-27). Stallsworth led four Privateers with double-digit kills as Mary Wanko and Jennifer Cruz each had 14 and Melissa Caravella had 11. Caravella had a team-/career-high 11 block and added nine digs, two assists and an ace.

The Privateers (5-12/1-7) have dropped five-matches in a row and are in the midst of a three-match conference losing streak. UNO plays at Middle Tennessee on Saturday, October 20th at 4:00 p.m. The Privateers return home on Monday, October 22nd to face instate rival, Southeastern Louisiana at 7:00 p.m
