Privateers Volleyball Defeats Centenary and McNeese State for a Perfect Day

The University of New Orleans women's volleyball won both of their matches today at the UNO Tournament, defeating Centenary, 3-1 (30-22, 30-16, 28-30, 30-17), in afternoon play and sweeping McNeese State, 3-0 (30-24,30-23, 30-18), this evening.

Senior Ann MacMillan was named to the All-Tournament team, recording her third double-double of the season, with team-highs of 15 kills and 15 digs in the match vs. McNeese State and had a season-high attack percentage of 71.4%.

Also named to the team for the Privateers was junior Alison Howard. Howard assisted on 140 kills over the two-day tournament.

Other All-Tournament team members included Joci Petten of Centenary College, Angela Eppers of McNeese State, and Mariel Portocarrero of Florida A & M. The tournament MVP was Fiorella Alta Junek of Florida A & M.
