to Prairie View A&M and McNeese State on the first day of
competition in the McNeese State Fairfield Inn & Suites Invitational
on Friday.
UNO (1-5) won the first set and rallied to force a decisive fifth frame,
before falling to PV3-2 (25-27, 25-15, 25-16, 23-25, 15-8) in their
opening match. The Privateers came back three hours later and dropped a

doing in the opening set. The unit hit .265 with five players pounding
down at least two kills apiece.
