UNO fell to 1-8 on Thursday night with a 68-41 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette.  Keri Thomas led the Lady Privateers in the game with 12 points and currently paces the squad with 12.6 points per game.

Thomas has shot 40 percent or better from the field in her last four games, hitting 19 of 44 shots for a 43.2 percent clip during the stretch. On the season, Thomas ranks third amongst the regulars with a 40.4 percent effort from the field, behind team leaders Amber Clay (59.4 percent) and Mirjam Sipos (42.3).

In addition to the offensive production this year, Clay has become a formidable rebounder for head coach Keeshawn Carter.

The senior forward pulled down eight rebounds against ULL and has grabbed at least four in eight of the team's nine contests. Overall, Clay is producing 5.7 rebounds a game and joins Mathilde Fogelstrom (8.4 rpg) as the leaders inside for UNO.

JSU (2-6) will serve as the opposition on Sunday and enters the contest coming off of a loss to ULL, falling 68-57 on Monday. The Lady Tigers' Tiffany Kellum scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds against EKU and currently averages a team-high 12.3 points and 8.4 rebounds.

JSU shot 36.4 percent from the field in the previous outing and is led from the field by Ayana Hardy-Fuller (48.7 percent) and Dominique Brothern (44.0). Kellum joins the duo above 40 percent by shooting a 42.2 percent clip.

Despite the relative proximity between the schools, UNO and the Lady Tigers have only met once before, a 71-52 victory on Dec. 6, 2008 at Fogelman Arena as part of the Big Easy Classic.

The schedule resumes for the Lady Privateers with consecutive road games at Seton Hall and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. UNO visits SHU on Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. with a contest at UAPB slated for Dec. 21 at 6 p.m.
