FIRST SERVEThe New Orleans Privateers volleyball team (11-10, 2-4) continues a five-match home stand against the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (13-11, 5-3) on Saturday afternoon at the Human Performance Center. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Privateers are looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Northwestern State on Thursday night. It was the first time the Privateers lost a match this season when taking the first set. New Orleans had four service aces in the opening game, but none in the next three sets.
Cara Sander led the team in kills with 12 while
Blessing Dunn added 10.

Sander has 34 kills in three matches since returning.
Kaitlyn Grice is fifth in the Southland in hitting percentage entering Saturday.
Shaylene Reimer also appears in the top five in the conference in service aces per set. Reimer added another ace to her season total on Thursday.

The Privateers are 5-7 all-time against Stephen F. Austin. New Orleans has lost the last five meetings against the Ladyjacks. The last Privateers win against SFA came back in 1994. The two teams have split four career meetings in New Orleans.

QUICK HITS-The Privateers conceded 11 blocks to Northwestern State on Thursday, marking the fifth time this season an opponent has recorded more than 10 blocks against New Orleans.
-To date, the Privateers have earned six more points than their collective opponents (1628-1622).
-Only once in four career meetings in New Orleans has there been a sweep between these two teams (UNO W 3-0, Sept. 14, 1991).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTStephen F. Austin has dropped three of their last four matches entering the weekend. The Ladyjacks were defeated 3-1 by Southeastern on Thursday. Justice Walker had 18 kills, which tied a season-high. Makenzee Hannah added 11 kills for the LadyJacks offense. Southeastern racked up 70 kills against the SFA defense.

OJ Olson is a two-time All-Southland selection (2013 and 2014). Olson ranked seventh in school history in digs entering this season, and has the second most digs per set (5.31), only trailing Kate Klepetka of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Olson had 24 digs in the loss on Thursday.

The Ladyacks are ranked in the top five in the Southland in kills, hitting percentage, digs, and assists. Stephen F. Austin currently holds a half-game advantage for third in the conference standings, trailing Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Central Arkansas. The Ladyjacks have lost the first set in 15 of their 24 matches this season.

Debbie Humphreys is in her 28
th season as head coach at Stephen F. Austin. Earlier this year, Humphreys collected her 600
th career win. In her career, Humphreys has taken the Ladyjacks to the NCAA Tournament four times and is a five-time Southland Coach of the Year.
