Southeastern Louisiana remains at home in the University Center on Monday night, boasting a 6-7 Southland Conference record after a win against Abilene Christian on Saturday. The Lions have three players averaging double-figures including team-leader Zay Jackson who is putting in 15.5 per game.

LAST TIME OUT:It came down to the wire for the New Orleans men's basketball team on Saturday night, but it was ultimately a buzzer-beater three-pointer from Northwestern State that put the Demons on top in Southland Conference action, 87-84. New Orleans put together a 21-0 run in the first half to take the lead over Northwestern before the Demons stormed back.

Taming the LionsThe Privateers have dominated during the all-time series between the two schools, holding an unblemished 9-0 record against Southeastern including taking both of last year's meetings.
80-Point PlateauNew Orleans put up 80 or more points for the sixth time this season when the Privateers took on Northwestern on Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Lakefront Arena. The Privateers are now 5-1 this season when scoring 80 or more points in a contest.

Paint GameThe Privateers have been tough to face in the paint during the 2014-15 season, outscoring their opponents by a 726-664 margin under the basket thus far. New Orleans is the top team in the nation in terms of getting to the rim, taking 57-percent of its field goals in the paint.

Christavious Gill has remained the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.5 points per outing, giving Gill one point for nearly every two minutes of time on the court. Gill has put together an impressive offensive run of New Orleans, scoring in double-figures in 21 out of the last 24 games for the Privateers dating back to last season.
