Privateers take on Jackson State in a non-conference match

NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans volleyball plays its final road match of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 8, when the Privateers venture to Jackson, Mississippi for a contest against Jackson State. Match is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.

The two sides met earlier this season in Jacksonville, Alabama, where UNO swept JSU 3-0 in their final match in the Jax, State Invitational. The victory marked the second-consecutive win for New Orleans in the all-time series. The Privateers lead the all-time series 8-3

"We played against Jackson State earlier this season, but we are both different teams then we were a couple months ago," head coach Millicent Van Norden explained. "If we want to leave Jackson with a victory we are going to have to serve competitively and play with minimal attacking errors."
