New Orleans- On the heels of a couple of successful outings on the road in Hammond, Louisiana and Beaumont, Texas, the University of New Orleans volleyball team returns to the Human Performance Center, Thursday, October 19 at 6:30 p. m. to face Southland Conference (SLC) rival Northwestern State.
New Orleans (3-5,9-11 SLC) is beaming after taking two straight contests on the road over Southeastern Louisiana 3-2 (21-25, 19-25, 29-27, 25-19, 15-12) and Lamar 3-2 (23-25, 26-24, 28-30, 25-19, 15-11). Both matches were five-set affairs as UNO sports a 6-3 mark in matches going five sets this season.
