Men's Tennis Match vs. NJIT Cancelled Due to Rain

New Orleans - The New Orleans Privateers scheduled men's tennis match against NJIT was cancelled due to rain. The match will not be made up.

Rain in the area forced the cancellation of what was scheduled to be the last non-conference match before New Orleans started Southland play. The men's team is 4-2 at the University Tennis Center this season.

After a tough non-conference slate, the Privateers will dip into conference action starting next week. New Orleans will make the short trip to Thibodaux to take on Nicholls next Wednesday, Mar. 21. After that, the Privateers will host a pair of conference foes next weekend: Lamar on Friday, Mar. 23 and Abilene Christian the following day. The Lamar match is slated to begin at 3 p.m. while the Abilene Christian match will get going at 2 p.m.

When the Privateers hit the court again, they will be looking to bounce back from losses to Louisiana and South Alabama.
