VOLLEYBALL
The Privateers (10-10, 3-3 Southland) enter the week on a high note after a weekend victory over Central Arkansas. The triumph was the first for New Orleans on the volleyball court over the Sugar Bears since joining the Southland.

This week, the Privateers will take on McNeese (8-10, 1-5 Southland) on Tuesday, October 15 at the Human Performance Center. The match is set for a 6:30 p.m. start.

- Andrea Nava reached the 20-dig mark in a match for the fifth time this season in the victory over Central Arkansas. Nava is at 4.19 digs per set this season (ninth in the Southland) and has 1,179 digs in her career. She is 20 behind Christy Levy for eighth on the all-time program list.
- Four times this season, the Privateers have served up at least 10 aces. The latest occurrence was Saturday with 11 aces. Two out of the three sets won on Saturday were finished on aces.
- Rhyan Rand recorded her second double-double in Southland play on Saturday with 13 kills and 11 digs. Rand also notched a double-double against Nicholls (11 kills, 10 digs).
- McNeese checks in with a 1-5 conference record, but as been highly competitive. Three of their five conference losses have come in five sets (Nicholls, Central Arkansas, HBU). Angela McGownd of McNeese leads the Southland in digs at 4.98 per set.

MEN'S TENNIS
New Orleans will have representation at the ITA Southern Regional hosted by Auburn University. The tournament is set to begin on Thursday, October 17.

Four student-athletes will be participating in the tournament: Mats Westkamp, Johannes Klein, Misha Fomenkov, and Austin Vos. Klein participated in the last go-around for New Orleans at the Southern Regional in 2017 as a freshman.
GOLF
The golf team will conclude the fall portion of their season at the "TVA Community Credit Union Invitational" at the Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club in Killen, Alabama from October 21-22.
Sophomore Grayson Gilbert has posted back-to-back top 15 finishes. Gilbert (third) and fellow sophomore Ryan Fulton (eighth) both rank in the top 10 of the Southland Conference in average score after three tournaments.
As a squad the Privateers rank third in the league in average team score, and have finished ahead of 12 Southland schools in competition so far – the most in a season since joining the league in 2014.
