BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of New Orleans posted five top-10 finishes in the final meet before the 2019 Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at Bernie Moore Track Stadium.
Aaron Worrell placed third in the long jump with a leap of 7.21m (23-8.0).
Vojislav Gvero finished fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 58.02m (190-4.0),
Aaron Albert was sixth in the 1,500m run (3:54.30) and
Harrison Coleman placed 10
th in the 110m hurdles (14.88) and 13
th in the 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 54.25 seconds.
On the women's side,
Danielle Lorenz led all student-athletes with a ninth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 13.74m (45-1.0).
