NOTABLES
-The Privateers have already played two nationally ranked opponents in Texas and Baylor. It's the third time under coach
Keeshawn Davenport that New Orleans has faced more than one nationally ranked opponent in their non-conference schedule.
-Heading into Thursday, the Privateers have won eight straight meetings against Xavier. New Orleans won their only meeting under Davenport when they beat Xavier 85-50 in 2017.

Brianna Ellis continues her strong start to the season. Ellis has poured in 35 points over the first two games against a pair of Big 12 foes. Ellis had a career-best 19 points against Texas and followed with a 16-point performance at Baylor.

Jomyra Mathis had her first double-digit scoring output as a Privateer against Baylor when she went for 14 points. Mathis had seven games in double digits last season with Louisiana.
-The Privateers had 11 steals against Baylor on Monday night. Last season, New Orleans had seven games with 10 or more steals.
ABOUT XAVIER
-Bo Browder on Nov. 3 earned his 500th victory as XULA's head coach when the Gold Nuggets won 65-53 at home against Tougaloo. Browder will enter the UNO game with a record of 502-210 (.705); this is his 23rd season at XULA.
-This is XULA's first season in the NAIA's Red River Athletic Conference. XULA was a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference the previous 40 seasons.
-XULA was the GCAC Tournament champion last season and qualified for NAIA nationals for the 21st time in 26 seasons.
