Women's Basketball Plays Pre-Thanksgiving Game at South Alabama

NOTES
WHERE TO WATCH

NEW ORLEANS -
The Privateers will take to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 23 when they continue their road swing at South Alabama. Tip is set for 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Center.

New Orleans came off a 64-45 loss on Saturday against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. In the game, Brianna Ellis went for 15 points. Ellis has scored in double figures in each of the first four games and she went a perfect 11-for-11 at the free throw line.

Ellis is currently in the top 20 in the nation in free throw attempts through games played on Saturday.

After playing just 10 minutes through the first three games, Majegane Barry played 20 minutes in Lafayette and pulled down six rebounds (three offensive).

This will be the fourth time the Privateers and Jaguars have played since 2016. New Orleans won 74-64 on Dec. 20, 2020. Erin Randle had her first double-double as a Privateer in that contest when she went for 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Privateers lead the all-time series 30-20 over the Jaguars.
