NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers will host two matches in their penultimate week of competition for the regular season. A 6:30 p.m. tilt against HBU is up first on Thursday with an 11 a.m. match against McNeese to follow on Saturday.

We will observe a moment of silence before Thursday's match for HBU volleyball assistant coach Molly Howard Gerwig who tragically passed away last month.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

Tara Goolsby has assumed the setter duties for the last four matches. In that span, Goolsby has 118 total assists (8.42 per set). She also added four blocks against UIW.

Sh'Diamond Holly and
Kai Williams co-led the team in kills with nine each in the first match against HBU in Houston.
-One of the Privateers' four matches with double digit blocks as a team came in the first meeting vs. McNeese when New Orleans registered 10 rejections.

Sheilah Purcell has gone for 10+ digs in 18 of the team's 19 matches this year. Her season-high was 30 against Northwestern State.
-The Privateers will have Senior Night on Thursday, Nov. 11 when they close the regular season against Nicholls at the Human Performance Center.
THE COMPETITION
-HBU is first in the league in opponent attack percentage. The Huskies have limited opponents to just a .142 clip.
-Anna Gadway is the reigning Southland Offensive Player of the Week. Gadway had 29 kills in six sets last week.
-McNeese is currently sitting in third place in the league with a 7-4 mark heading into the week.
-The Cowgirls lead the Southland as a team in aces per set with 1.59. They also have allowed the fewest kills per set.
-Jaylin Gordon paces the Southland in attack percentage with a .363 clip in 237 attempts this season.
