NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans head women's basketball coach Keeshawn Davenport announced the signing of University of Minnesota transfer student-athlete Justice Ross, the fourth signing of the 2021 Spring Class on Wednesday. The 6-0 redshirt freshman will look to make a big impact in the Privateers frontcourt this upcoming season.

"I committed to UNO because I absolutely love the family culture, energy of the team, Coach D and the entire coaching staff," an elated Ross said. "I'm also passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the classroom, community and on the court!"

Ross joins the Privateers after two seasons at the University of Minnesota. The 2021-21 campaign was her redshirt freshman season. She appeared in three games in 2020-21 and made her Minnesota debut with two points, three boards, two blocks, a steal and an assist against Eastern Illinois on December 2, 2020.

"I am really excited about Justice coming in, by way of Minnesota," Davenport said. "Her aggressiveness and ability to attack off the dribble along with her outside shooting makes her a real threat. She has court vision like a point guard. She brings a lot of versatility to our team and that is exciting. We are really looking forward to her joining our family."

Moss, a Des Moines, Iowa native, was a three-star recruit and the No. 33 wing student-athlete in the country according to ESPN out of Des Moines East High School. She was a two-time First-Team All-Conference selection and posted 15.7 points, 4.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.6 steals per game in her senior season.
Ross joins Nahja Scott, Jomyra Mathis and DeArica Pryor as the first four singings of the Spring 2021 class as Coach Davenport and her staff retool the roster. The signing also splits the class into an even two groups, with two student-athletes being Louisiana natives (Scott and Mathis) and two student-athletes coming by way of Iowa (DeArica and Justice).
