New Orleans Athletics Expands Partnership, Support Student-Athletes Build Their Brands with Darlow Rules by Opendorse

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Athletics has announced a partnership with Opendorse and leading brand marketing consultant and best-selling author Jeremy Darlow Friday. Darlow Rules by Opendorse is an online program that equips student-athletes with the tools to develop and grow their personal brands. Darlow is the author of Brands Win Championships and Athletes Are Brands Too and is a former director of marketing for Adidas football and baseball.  
 
Student-athletes will receive access to the full Darlow Rules on-demand online, an e-book of The Darlow Rules for athletes, exclusive access to monthly live Q&As with Darlow. Additionally, exclusive access to monthly live Q&As with Darlow and coach/administration will be available. 
 
The Privateers are extending their partnership with Opendorse as UNO uses the Opendorse Social platform to provide videos, photos, graphics and more to student-athletes, alumni, coaches and staff. It equips all within the platform with access to video and photo content, one-tap publishing and real-time analytics.  
 
"We are excited to broaden our relationship with OpenDorse and partner with iconic marketing and brand building guru Jeremy Darlow," said Tim Duncan, Vice President of Athletics and Recreation. "I've known Jeremy for several years since he donated books to Emerging AD, the professional development conference I founded and managed for 5 years. We have engaged with a partner who will help us "play defense" through NIL education and monitoring. With Jeremy creating specific programming for Privateer student-athletes, we are helping them "play offense" by developing their brand identities."
