NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers are set for their second weekend back on the court when the participate in the Louisiana Tech Invitational. The Privateers will face a trio of opponents: Little Rock, Southern and Louisiana Tech.
WHEN
The Privateers will play Little Rock at 12 p.m. on Friday then Southern a few hours later at 3:30 p.m. New Orleans will close against the host, Louisiana Tech on Saturday at 10 a.m.

NOTABLES

Rita Zecchin has two double-doubles in the Privateers' first two matches. Zecchin also leads the team in kills with 51 heading into the weekend.

Maite Solabarrieta has split the setter duties and the freshman has recorded 5.27 assists per set. Solabarrieta had a season high 21 assists against UTRGV.
-The Privateers are just under two blocks per set for the first five matches.
Alexis Parrish leads the team in total blocks with 18.
-New Orleans has 69 wins all-time against the three opponents they will face this weekend. The Privateers are 40-8 against Southern.

Tara Goolsby had 19 kills over the last two matches of the CBU/UCR Tournament. That included a season-best 12 against UC Riverside. Goolsby also hit .417 against California Baptist.
-Following this weekend, the Privateers will begin Southland play. Their first three matches against conference foes are on the road.
