DAY ONE RESULTS
HOUMA – The University of New Orleans shot a 588 following rounds of 296 and 292 – tying them for seventh place heading into Tuesday's final round at the Ellendale Intercollegiate at Ellendale Country Club.

Brady Bennett had his best round this spring shooting a 69 during round two. After shooting 1-over-par on the back nine the Zachary native caught fire with birdies on one, two, three, and six on the front nine to finish the afternoon tied for 16
th with a score of 145. Round two marked the seventh round under 70 this season for Bennett.
Ryan Fulton finished just outside the top-20 with a score of 146 following back-to-back rounds of 73. Just like Bennett, Fulton finished his final round with a flurry of birdies. Birdies on three, five and eight had Ryan at 2-under-par on the final nine holes of his afternoon.

Florian Moosmeier who shot a 147 (tied for 28
th),
Henry Augenstein who shot a 152 (tied for 53

HEAD COACH JEFF LORIO
"It was just one of those days where the ball didn't quite bounce our way. One of the great things about golf is that there's always a number after a round. Good or bad – that number stays with you.
"This can be a funny sport. There are days when you feel like you play well but don't catch many breaks and the score at the end of the round isn't indicative of how you played. We felt that way today. …felt like we were close to having a really special round."
"We will keep our heads down and keep grinding and one of these days the breaks will fall our way."
