New Orleans has engineered six clean sweeps in their 11 wins this season. The Privateers are collectively 52-18 in singles play heading into the week.

Max Heinzel won his ninth match of the season and his fourth consecutive when he defeated Al Sanchez Gonzalez 7-6 (4), 3-6, 10-7. During Heinzel's winning streak, he has been victorious in three sets in all four matches.

The Privateers played the Cougars once in 2017. College of Charleston won that day 4-0.

On the season, the Cougars have played five of their seven matches on the road. They have lost back-to-back matches against Wofford and Campbell. The two wins have come against SCAD-Savannah and Washington and Lee.
