BATON ROUGE – Vojislav Govero posted his second top-two finish over the weekend to lead the New Orleans Privateers track and field squad at the Battle on the Bayou hosted by LSU.

The Privateers had four of the top six finishers in the men's 3000 meter in
Ryan Guenthner,
Kristian Oatman, Gray Sandrock and
Cameron Carpenter.
On the women's side,
Karena Grigenas posted a personal best in the discus while placing fifth in the event. Grigenas had a best throw of 44.30 meters, which replaces her previous mark of 43.56 meters which she set in Baton Rouge last May.
