Privateers End Regular Season With Five Top Three Finishes and Several Personal Records

HOUSTON, Tx.-  The Privateers conclude another successful weekend in Baton Rouge and Houston racking up five top three performances and 15 personal records. 41 Privateers competed this weekend.

Leading off at the LSU Alumni Gold meet were the throwers with sophomore Karena Grigenas setting a new PR in the discus with a throw of 44.43m. This mark moves Grigenas to a fifth place conference ranking going into the conference championship. Keneva Headley also continues to progress with each meet as she set personal bests in both the long jump (5.14m) and triple jump (10.92).
