Saturday ended a long streak for the Privateers. They had previously hit a three-pointer in 147 consecutive games before Saturday when they were held without a three against HCU in 12 attempts.

The Privateers are 3-15 all-time against the Islanders and have not won in Corpus Christi in eight games.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (8-6, 3-0) currently leads the conference. Alecia Westbrook is averaging a double-double at 11 points and 10 rebounds per game. She is a two-time Southland Player of the Week. The Islanders are averaging nearly 22 free throw attempts per game with 305 total in 14 games.
