ORLANDO, Fla. – The New Orleans Privateers women's basketball team will travel to the Sunshine State for a Monday morning game when they take on the UCF Knights. Tip is scheduled for 10 a.m. CST and will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN Plus.

The Privateers' most recent outing was a 90-63 loss at Tulane which included a two-game swing against in-state foes. Three Privateers landed in double figures in points led by
DeArica Pryor who scored 18 points.

DeArica Pryor has 785 career points at New Orleans in 57 games entering Monday keeping her well on pace to the 1,000-point mile[1]stone. Pryor would need to average 10.2 points per game the rest
of the regular season to achieve that mark. In her UNO career to date, Pryor has averaged 13.8 points per game.

Jayla Kimbrough is averaging 12.3 points per game over her last four contests. In that stretch she is shooting 51.5 percent from the field (17-of-33) and has done all that while coming off the bench.
Kimbrough scored 14 points and went 7-of-7 from the free throw line against Tulane.

The Privateers are tied for first in the Southland in free throw per[1]centage entering the week. New Orleans has connected on 73.3 percent of their free throws. Individually, Kimbrough leads all
qualifiers in the Southland in free throw percentage (.826).

The Privateers had great success in the early 1990s against UCF which accounted for most of their all-time meetings. New Orleans is 8-1 all-time against the Knights with the most recent meeting coming in 2002.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
UCF is unblemished on the season after seven games. Their latest triumph was by the narrowest of margins in a 42-41 win against Campbell. The Knights defense held Campbell to just 11 points in the second half and two points in the third quarter.

The Knights are shooting 78.8 percent from the free throw line as a team which ranks them 19
th in the nation. Kaitlin Peterson is third in the Big 12 in scoring, averaging 19.9 points per game. Achol Akot is pulling down an average of 9.6 rebounds per game which ranks 39
th in the country.
