NEW ORLEANS - Having already punched their ticket for the Southland Conference Tournament, the University of New Orleans men's basketball program (10-18, SLC 7-10) looks to conclude the regular season with a win over McNeese at the Legacy Center Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Privateers, who have won four consecutive games, punched their ticket after completing the season sweep over Lamar with an 84-79 win Saturday. Sophomore Turk Vincent netted a career-high 22 points, and eight rebounds. The Privateers improved to 32-8 all-time against the Cardinals and 9-2 under Slessinger.
Prior to Saturday's game, New Orleans honored four in a Senior Day ceremony. It included
K'mani Doughty,
Simeon Kirkland,
Daniel Sackey, and
Marquez Cooper.
The Privateers have exceeded their average in scoring (72.3) in the last three out of four games. They lead the conference in 3PT% (37.4), 3
rd in turnovers forced per game (15.11), 3
rd in bench points per game (22.75), and 3
rd in assists per game (14.6). Individually,
Jordan Johnson leads the conference and is 2
nd in the nation in 3PT% (47.0) and 8th in three-pointers per game (3.43).
Johnson has played in 13 of 17 SLC games and scored double figures in 12 of those matchups. He leads the team in scoring with 17.3 points per game on the season and 19.0 in conference.
Khaleb Wilson-Rouse had eight steals, which is the most for a Privateer this season and ties him with Ben Adams for second in all-time steals in a single game. Adams had eight steals for New Orleans against Loyola (N.O.) Dec. 1, 2000.
The Cowboys are looking to shake-off a 78-75 road defeat at SLU on Saturday. McNeese took the first meeting against New Orleans February 11
th 79-78 after shooting 48.1 percent from the field. The Privateers lead the all-time series 19-10 against the Cowboys and they are 13-7 under Slessinger. .
Tied as the No. 6 seed, the Privateers will play Sunday, March 5 at either 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. in the first round of the SLC tournament on ESPN+.
