SCHEDULE
NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers women's basketball schedule has been released and it features 12 non-conference games (four at home) along with an 18-game Southland slate.
The season opens with an Oklahoma swing. The Privateers under first-year Privateer head coach, Trelanne Powell, will begin the season on Nov. 8 at Oklahoma State. Two days later, the Privateers head to Tulsa to face the Golden Hurricane.
Three games in seven days tips off the season as the Privateers head to SEC foe, Mississippi State on Nov. 15. New Orleans will open their home schedule at the Lakefront Arena with the first of two meetings against Alcorn State on Nov. 21.
The Privateers close November on the road at Houston (Nov. 26) and South Alabama (Nov. 29). December begins with a home game against an in-state opponent in the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns (Dec. 2).
A short trip to New Orleans to face Tulane follows on Dec. 6. The Privateers go from there to the Sunshine State when they face the UCF Golden Knights on Dec. 11.
The non-conference slate ends with a home game against Tarleton State (Dec. 18) before a return trip to Alcorn State on Dec. 20.
Once the Privateers get to Southland play, they will be going on Thursday and Saturday while the men will play on Saturday and Monday. The women's conference schedule opens on Jan. 4 at home against Texas A&M-Commerce. The Privateers will also host Southeastern, Texas A&M-CC and Northwestern State in January.
The month of February begins with back-to-back home games against UIW and HCU. The Privateers will also host Lamar and Nicholls in February.
The regular season closes with a three-game road swing at Southeastern, UIW, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ahead of the season finale against McNeese on Mar. 6.
Season tickets are now available for the 2023-24 New Orleans Privateers basketball season. Season tickets include all 20 home games for Men's and Women's games for the season. Courtside, Lower Level Premium Courtside and Reserved Season Tickets are available. Ticket prices start at just $ 115 for the season.
