NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers volleyball team will wrap up their home slate this week with a pair of matches. Thursday features a tilt against the UTRGV Vaqueros at 6:30 p.m. The home finale is on Saturday against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders at 12 p.m.
New Orleans last played on Saturday when they celebrated Senior Day ahead of the match against HCU. The Privateers lost 3-0 to the Huskies.
Buse Kocakaya led the offense with six kills on the afternoon.
Courtney Roundtree has notched a block in each of the last five matches and has only been held without a block twice this season. Roundtree has 52 total blocks on the year with 19 of them solo. She is three blocks away from matching her season total from last year.
