NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers will host a pair of games this week against Nicholls and Lamar at the Lakefront Arena. Thursday's contest against Nicholls it the team's Play 4 Kay Game in recognition and support of breast cancer awareness. Saturday's game against Lamar is Senior Day where three seniors will be honored pregame.

The game times are 6:30 and 1 p.m. respectively and both games will be carried on ESPN Plus.

Kyla Davis,
Zoe Cooper and
DeArica Pryor will be honored before Saturday's game for their contributions to the program. Davis was fifth in the Southland in three-pointers made as a sophomore. Cooper has averaged 5.2 rebounds per game in her career. Pryor was a two-time Southland All-Defensive selection.

The rebounding margin has gone a long way to determining the winner in Privateer games this season. New Orleans has outrebounded seven opponents and is 6-1 in those games. They are 2-12 when getting outrebounded.

Pryor is closing in on 1,000 points just at New Orleans. After scoring 54 points in two games and securing Southland Player of the Week honors, Pryor is now at 979 points on the Lakefront. She would become the 18
th student-athlete in program history to surpass the 1,000-point mark at UNO.

In the last four games,
Jayla Kimbrough has gone for averages of 16.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Last week against A&M-Commerce and Northwestern State, Kimbrough played a combined 71 minutes. It was the first time in her collegiate career Kimbrough has played over 30 minutes in consecutive games.

The Privateers defeated Nicholls in the first meeting over in Thibodaux 69-63. Pryor went for 21 points that night while
Nora Francois had 12. New Orleans lost a close game at Lamar 65-62. That game saw 11 ties and 17 lead changes.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Nicholls checks in with a mark of 11-12 overall and 5-6 in conference. First year head coach, Justin Payne has taken the Colonels already to a six-win improvement over last season with seven games remaining in the regular season. Lexi Alexander is eighth in the Southland in points per game at 13.3.

Lamar is currently stride-for-stride with Southeastern for the regular season title. Southeastern is 11-1 in conference while Lamar sits at 10-1. Sabria Dean is second in the Southland in scoring at 15.1 points per game. Akasha Davis leads the league in field goal percentage and rebounding.
