The Privateer women's distance program collected 62 points over three days in Houston. The total was not only the most by any distance program, men or women, but higher than five women's programs' and four men's programs' entire point total.
Leading the way for the UNO distance women on Saturday were Alexandra Weir and Sophia Wolf. Alex picked up a silver medal in the women's 1500 with a time of 4:28.54. Wolf finished fourth with a time of 4:32.84, and Emma Bourg scored after finishing eighth with a time of 4:41.68.

A third silver medal came for the Privateer women when Rebecca DeKay finished her 5,000-meter race in 17:41.44. DeKay pushed Nia Clatworthy of Lamar until the very end but fell just short after beating her to the gold medal in the 10,000-meter race on Thursday night.
Alimot Alowonle scored in four events for the New Orleans women. The sophomore had a sixth-place finish in yesterday's long jump. Today she added a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 12.12 – the second-longest in school history, a sixth-place finish as part of the women's 4x100 team (Pitre, S. Bracey, T. Bracey, Alowonle) with a time of 46.18 – the fourth fastest in school history, and a seventh-place finish as part of the women's 4x400 team (Alowonle, S. Bracey, T. Bracey, Wolf) with a time of 3:49.93.
The Bracey twins – Sarinity and Trinity - both took home points in three events for the UNO women. Both were part of the aforementioned 4x100 and 4x400 relay squads. Sarinity also finished fourth in the women's 110-meter hurdles with a new personal best of 13.88, while Trinity finished seventh in the women's 400 meters with a time of 54.69.

Competing in her first career heptathlon (and the first by any Privateer at a conference championship since 2017), the sophomore from Germany finished fifth with 4,632 points – the ninth most in school history. She also ran in the women's 100-meter hurdle finals on Saturday, grabbing another two points for the UNO women with a seventh-place finish in 14.70.
John Adesola and Jorim Bangue took home the top two spots in the men's 110 hurdles in the most exciting race at this year's championships. Adesola edged Bangue by .005 seconds to take home the gold with a time of 13.872. The pair dominated the race, finishing almost half a second ahead of Northwestern State's Taj Morris.
