PENSACOLA, Fla. – The New Orleans Privateers finished their fall campaign with competition against one of the top Division II teams in the country in West Florida over the last two days.
On the women's side, the ladies also got their first look at Southeastern this year.
Kateryna Kalistratova won both of her singles matches and went 3-1 overall on the week.
Nouray Khaled and
Fleur Sprengers each had wins in both singles and doubles over the prior two days.
The men played a West Florida team that went 24-3 last year and made the NCAA Div. II Regional Final.
Two Privateers went unblemished in singles as
Jacob Rouleau-Mailly and
Marius Gyllerup each notched a pair of wins this week.
Carlos Melgosa,
Jan Rosicky,
Jerall Yasin and
Gonzalo Cotter all scored a singles victory.
In doubles, Gyllerup and Rosicky earned a win while Melgosa and Cotter also teamed up for a victory to conclude the fall season.
