FROM COACH LORIO
Overall it was a good first event in terms of finding out about ourselves. I think we proved during the first round, that we can compete at a high level. Monday afternoon our conditioning was put to the test and in all honestly we need to get better on that front. We also showed some weaknesses in the putting green today and that will be worked on and corrected this week.

It was great to see three guys shoot par or better for the event and I'm especially proud of Garrett's impressive round today. If we continue to get that kind of production, we will be in position to compete and win tournaments.

We have a step up in competition next week and I know the guys will put in the work this week and be ready at Sandestin.

NEXT UP
The Privateers will head to Miramar Beach, Fla. to participate in the Sandestin Collegiate which starts on Sept. 22.
