FULL RESULTS: Crescent City Timing
HAMMOND – Olamipo Ladipo,
Keldrick Turner and
Agathe Tronchon took home first-place finishes for the University of New Orleans at the Strawberry Relays on Friday afternoon.
Ladipo won the men's 400-meter race in 47.56 seconds, one second ahead of Karri Noel from XULA. The Brazilian's time is the sixth-fastest in school history and moves him to fourth on UNO's all-time performance list. It's also among the top 50 times in the South Region this season.
Turner made it back-to-back event wins for the UNO men after clocking a 10.64 in the men's 100-meter dash on Saturday afternoon. His time was almost two-tenths of a second faster than second-place finisher Christian Aikens.
Tronchon was the third Privateer winner at the Strawberry Relays. The sophomore looked well on her way to setting a new personal best before stumbling over the last hurdle. She was able to recover and finish just ahead of Ava-Claire Calais from
Nicholls in 1:07.32. Saturday afternoon marked back-to-back 400-meter hurdles victories in Hammond for Tronchon after winning the same event at the Any Theil Season Opener in March.
Gennieve Davis had an afternoon to remember. Alongside

Katie Burnett,
Nyah Harrison - Davis finished third in the women's 4x100-meter relay with a time of 47.96 seconds. Davis went one spot better in her individual race, taking second place in the women's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.47 seconds — her best non-wind-aided time of the season.
Chey Bridges (4:26.50 - 1500M),
Serenity Harris (1:01.50 - 400M),
Alex Williams (1:57.72 - 800M) and
Keon Woolridge (36.08 meters - HT) all set new personal bests at the Strawberry Relays on Saturday.
Team scoring was kept at the Strawberry Relays. The Privateer women finished fifth with 40 points, while the men finished ninth with 28 points. There were nine women's teams represented and 11 men's teams.
