NEW ORLEANS - The University of New Orleans track and field program will conclude its regular season schedule with a trip to Carl Lewis International Complex for the Cameron Burrell Invitational later this week. The meet was originally scheduled to take place on April 30, but will now take place over two days (April 29-30) due to impending precipitation in the Houston area.
Antonio Creger will throw the discus for the Privateers on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Creger's personal best in the event is 40.84m - set at the Andy Thiel Season opener on March 14. The freshman also broke the 40-meter mark last week at the Josh Reidinger Classic with a throw of 40.48m.
Most of the Privateers will be in action on Thursday starting with
Keon Woolridge in the men's hammer at 11:30 a.m.
Tyler Mitchell (Javelin) will throw in the early afternoon at the conclusion of women's javelin.
