FINAL RESULTS
LAKE CHARLES, La. (Mar. 2, 2004) -- The University of New Orleans men's golf team finished 13th of 13 teams at the Moe O'Brien Memorial Invitational here Monday and Tuesday at the Lake Charles Country Club as they shot a three-round score of 922.
The Privateers, which shot a 302 and a 318 on the opening day Monday, completed the 36-hole event Tuesday with a third-round score of 302.
UNO was led by Kevin Maxwell who hit a final-round score of 74 to finish a plus-nine 225 and a 30th place tie. Aaron Moreno was the next UNO finisher with a 12-over 228 for the tourney including a round of 77 on Tuesday to finish tied for No. 42.
James Fuselier came in 57th with a total score of 234 including a final-round 73, while Justin Lotz tied for 59th with a 237 (80) and Anthony Klingensmith tallied a three-round total of 240, including a final round of 78 to finish in 63rd.
Tulane won the team title with a five-under 859, while the Green Wave?s Michael Thompson shot a five-under 211 to capture the individual title.
The Privateers return to action when they travel to Ocala, Fla. Mar. 12-14 for the Austin Peay Invitational.Â
