NEW ORLEANS, La. – The New Orleans Privateers women's tennis team (2-1) looks to bounce back from their first loss of the dual meet at the University Tennis Center on Monday afternoon against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (2-1).

Anna Segarra Rius has individually made her early mark for the Privateers squad. Rius was the only player to win a point for the Privateers in the 6-1 loss to Louisiana Tech on Friday by defeating Marta Sramkova at the 3 position 6-4, 6-1.
Both schools have taken common early paths to this match. The Privateers and Warhawks both defeated a pair of SWAC opponents in their respective first two matches. New Orleans owns wins over Jackson State and Alcorn State while Louisiana-Monroe defeated Southern and Alcorn State. The Warhawks' first loss came on Sunday, Feb. 9 against Nicholls State.
This is the second of a four-match home stand for the Privateers women's team where they were 5-4 last season. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
