RESULTSBATON ROUGE, La. – The New Orleans sand volleyball team ended its four-match weekend at the LSU Tiger Sand Tournament on a high-note as
Lauren Levy and
Brooklyn Frank became to first pair to win a match.

The two picked up their one-point for the squad during a 4-1 loss to Spring Hill on day two with a 21-18, 21-19 victory at the No. 2 spot. Two other matches came close during the outing against Spring Hill as both
Ashley Everett and Courtney Roblez along with
Sophie Gracey and
Mikayla Sellers-Wiebe each saw their matches go the full three sets.

In the last match on day two New Orleans faced a familiar foe in North Florida, falling 5-0 with close matches at the No. 2 spot once again from Levy and Frank (21-14, 21-19) as well as at No. 3 with Sellers-Wiebe and Gracey (21-18, 21-16).

After opening the day with a 5-0 loss against FIU, the Privateers came back out to take on the host team LSU. In the 5-0 setback against the Tigers, New Orleans hit the 18-point mark in a pair of sets, one at No. 5 with Everett and Roblez 21-3, 21-18 and the other at No. 4 with
Kelsea Hundtoft and
Camila Lau at 21-6, 21-18.

New Orleans returns to play next weekend, March 28, as the Privateers head to Birmingham, Ala. to take on UAB.
