NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The University of New Orleans (7-9, 1-3 Southland) concludes its road trip Wednesday in Shelton Gym when it takes on Stephen F. Austin State University (14-5, 2-1 Southland) at 6:30 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN3 and can be watched by using the Watch ESPN app or by visiting ESPN.com.

The Ladyjacks lead the series 8-3 with a perfect 4-0 mark at home. SFA enters Wednesday winning the previous seven matchups between the programs, but the resilient New Orleans squad has forced five sets in three of its four conference matches.

  • UNO is searching for its first conference win in the Lone Star State since joining the Southland in 2013.
  • Kaitlyn Grice averages 2.15 kills, second most on the club behind Blessing Dunn (2.16). Grice also ranks second in the league in hitting percentage (.352) and defensively, she has collected a league-leading 16 solo blocks. Her 78 total blocks are second most and her 1.26 swats/set rank third in the Southland.
  • Lane Hindenburg follows with 2.11 kills and a .300 hitting percentage, eighth best in the Southland.
  • Manela Grau and Sarah Thomas are the two setters on the club with 6.88 assists/set and 4.38 helpers, respectively.
  • Dunn's 2.94 digs/set lead UNO with Andrea Nava (2.87) and Rhyan Rand (2.38) over the 2.30 digs/set plateau.

ABOUT THE LADYJACKS
  • Junior Makenzee Hanna leads the league in attack percentage (.354) with UNO's Grice closing the gap after last week's matches. She leads the club with 1.04 blocks per set.
  • Sophomore Danae Daron is averaging 2.38 kills per set on .329 hitting.
  • As a team, SFA is the league leader in hitting (.312), kills per set (14.80) and opponent blocks per set (1.20).

Following Wednesday's match, the Privateers return to the Human Performance Center to host Houston Baptist University at 12 p.m. Saturday.
