NEW ORLEANS – No days off for the Privateers as the University of New Orleans (7-6, 1-0 Southland) closes out a brief two-match homestand hosting the back-to-back Southland Conference champion Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (4-8, 1-0 Southland) Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Human Performance Center.
Admission is free for all home volleyball contests.

LAST TIME OUT
Down 2-1 to the University of the Incarnate Word last night, the Privateers stormed back to begin conference play 1-0 for the first time since joining the Southland.

Blessing Dunn registered double-doubles and
Kyra Hunter and
Lane Hindenburg led all players with 18 kills apiece. Defense was on full display with New Orleans collecting 14.0 team blocks and limiting the Cardinals to .181 hitting.
Southeastern Louisiana University threatened the Ders in all three sets Thursday but TAMUCC was able to begin SLC play 1-0 with 26-24, 25-21, 26-24 win.
ABOUT THE PRIVATEERS
Dunn leads the club with 2.31 kills per set and 3.04 digs per set. Hindenburg follows with 2.06 kills/set and 14 aces.
Kaitlyn Grice anchors the defense with 64 blocks.
