New Orleans- It's a rare Sunday afternoon home game for the University of New Orleans Privateers this week when the Warhawks of the University of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) come to Lakefront Arena for a non-conference, 2 p. m. contest.

The last time the Privateers (2-1) and the Warhawks played was last season, an 89-51 New Orleans win at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe.

The Privateers are coming off an easy 93-38 win over Trinity Baptist College on Nov. 17.
Shania Woods (15 ppg. 7 rpg.) led New Orleans with 20 points and 9 rebounds on the day.  The senior is shooting at her usual high percentage of .559.

Red shirt sophomore
Kayla Thomas had the best game of her young Privateer career with a double-double, 17 points and 11 rebounds for the 6-5 Philadelphia, Pa. native.

Sophomore point-guard
Jada Duncantell scored 14 points in the win over Trinity Baptist and junior center
Whitley Larry had a season-high 12 rebounds.

The Warhawks (2-2), of the Sun Belt Conference, come into the contest after a come-from-behind, 69-60 victory over McNeese State on Sunday, Nov. 18.

They are led by sophomore Arsula Clark who averages 13 points and 6 rebounds a contest.  After her 27-point performance in the win over Mc Neese, Clark was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week by College Sports Madness.
