Madison Miller split at No. 3 to receive Emerald Beach Hotel Invitational All-Tournament Team honors.
ABOUT THE PRIVATEERS
Overall, Vega and Miller lead the club with six wins and Rand follows with a 5-1 mark at No. 5.
Cara Sander and
Rachel Kuhn earned four wins at No. 1,
Victoria Corcoran and
Veronica Corcoran have four wins at No. 2 and
Kaitlyn Grice and
Jordan Schumacher are 4-2 at No. 4.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
College of Charleston is receiving votes in the AVCA Top 20 and the DIG Magazine Collegiate Beach Volleyball polls with a 5-3 mark.
Devon Rachel and McKaia Rhodes are 5-3 at No. 2, Rianna Brennan and Kennedy Madison (No. 2), and Allison Beckman and Lauren Freed (No. 3) are each 4-4 in their respective flights and Taylor Foley and Logan Manusky are 4-3 at No. 5.
SERIES
Wednesday marks the first of two meetings in 2018. In fact, the programs that never met prior to this season will play back-to-back as the Cougars and Privateers begin the Tiger Beach Challenge Saturday at 8 a.m. in Baton Rouge.
