Beach Volleyball Takes Three Flights Sunday

Against Spring Hill, Victoria Corcoran and Sander took No. 1, Carr and Grice won No. 5 and Grau paired with Rand to win exhibition

BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of New Orleans (3-11) nearly avenged an early season loss to Spring Hill College in the finale of the LSU Tiger Beach Challenge at Mango's Beach Volleyball Club Sunday. The Privateers won No. 5 (Ally Carr and Kaitlyn Grice) and the top flight went to Victoria Corcoran and Cara Sander but the Badgers won 3-2. In the exhibition, Manela Grau and Rhyan Rand upended SHC 21-7, 21-6.

In the first match Sunday, the Privateers fell to No. 17 Stetson University 5-0.
