Lake Charles, Louisiana- University of New Orleans golfer, Ulisses de Toledo carded the lowest score of the day during the third and final round of the Lake Charles Invitational, Tuesday, at The Country Club at The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles.
The junior shot a six-under par 66 following rounds on 77 (5-over) and 72 (even) during rounds 1 and 2 respectively. He finished with a 1-under par 215, good enough to finish 13
th in a field of over sixty golfers in the two-day, three-round, event hosted by McNeese.Â
There were only seven players with rounds in the 60's during the third and final round. Jack Lee of Nicholls tied de Toledo for the best score of the day with a six-under 66.
Max Hellstrom of the Privateers came in at 13-over par 229,
Brady Bennett was one stroke back at 14-over par 230.Â
Jackson Smith was tied with Bennett at 14 over after shooting a third-round 76. And Anton Person was 15 under par, 231.
New Orleans will return to action, Monday and Tuesday, April 2-3 when they travel to Montgomery, Texas for the Bearcat Invitational hosted by Sam Houston State.
