DAY ONE RESULTS
SLIDELL, La. – The 36-hole Loyola Wolf Pack Spring Invitational began Monday at Oak Harbor Golf Club and the University of New Orleans posted its second lowest round of the season, a 294 (six-over-par), and
Max Hellstrom shot a one-under-par 71 to pace the squad. It tied for the tournament lead.
Homero de Toledo continued his strong start to the spring with a par-72 and
Ulisses de Toledo Junior followed with a 73, third and fourth place, respectively.
Rounding out the team finishers were
Parker Johnson and
Jackson Smith, who both tied for 16
th with a 78. Competing as individuals,
Nolan Lambert tied for sixth with a 75 and
Michael Sotile shot an 80.
New Orleans is nine strokes ahead of host Loyola University. Wolf Pack's Philip Nijoka tied Hellstrom atop the leaderboard with a 71.
