Box Score Beaumont, TexasTrang Dao picked up a singles point at flight one, but it wasn't enough as the New Orleans Privateers women's tennis team lost 4-1 to the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders in the opening round of the Southland tournament on Friday. The Privateers season ended with a 10-11 mark.

The Islanders started the day by earning the doubles point with wins at flight one and three. Hortense Boscher and Luna Dormet topped the Privateers' tandem of Trang Dao and Yurina Asai 6-4.
