Women’s Basketball to Host Education Day; 2020 NCAA Women's Final Four Logo Unveil on Tuesday

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans women's basketball team opens its home schedule with its Education Day against Pensacola Christian on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 11 AM CST. The game will also feature the unveiling of the 2020 NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four logo that will be hosted here in New Orleans in early April at halftime of the contest.

The Education Day programming will feature pregame educational activities and food for almost 900 students between the grades of kindergarten through sixth grade as the school tries to set the Lakefront Arena attendance record for a women's basketball game. After the programming, the kids will cheer on the Privateers in their matchup against Pensacola Christian at 11 AM CST.

The 2020 NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four halftime ceremony will feature an on-court unveiling of the logo along with special programming by the 2020 NCAA Women's Final Four New Orleans Local Organizing Committee (NOLOC) that includes appearances by WNBA great and current New Orleans Pelicans Vice President of Basketball Operations and Team Development Swin Cash and NOLOC Executive Director Jeff Rossi, among others.

Fans can purchase tickets either online at unoprivateers.com/tickets or in person at the Lakefront Arena Box Office. Pre-purchased tickets online are $4 for adults. General admission tickets purchased on game day are $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 3-12.

The Lakefront Arena box office and arena doors open one hour prior to tip-off. Parking for the event is free in corresponding lots around the arena.
