NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Orleans released its 2019 beach volleyball schedule Friday and the Privateers begin and end the season at home, hosting two tournaments to highlight a 27-match schedule. The full schedule can be viewed

The Privateers host the New Orleans Invitational to begin the year – March 1-2 – at Digs Volleyball Complex in Covington. UNO will take on Nicholls, Southern Miss, Huntingdon and Spring Hill in the two-day tourney.
Ending the season as the host of the Southland Conference Showcase, the Privateers welcome Central Arkansas, Nicholls, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Abilene Christian and HBU to Digs April 18-19. Day three of the showcase is slated for April 20.
The Southland Conference announced it will sponsor beach volleyball in 2020, making this the final season the Privateers are independent.
INSIDE THE SCHEDULE
The Privateers face No. 7 (AVCA) LSU April 12 on the new beach courts on the campus of the Tigers. New Orleans will face No. 18 and local rival Tulane twice – March 8 and March 16.
