NEW ORLEANS - The University of New Orleans will confer graduation honors to 17 members of the Privateer Athletic family during the Fall Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, December 12.
Volleyball student-athletes
Shelby Pullins and
Rhyan Rand will receive degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies - Cultural and Environmental Studies and Accounting respectively.
Golf's
Florian Moosmeier, who transferred to New Orleans in 2019 and was a 2019-2020 Srixon/Cleveland All-American scholar will receive his degree in Psychology.
Seven current and former baseball student-athletes will receive their degrees as well -
Beau Bratton (Biological Sciences),
Gaige Howard (Marketing),
Sam Haley (Interdisciplinary Studies - Business in Urban Society),
Brandon Briuglio (Interdisciplinary Studies - Business in Urban Society), Jon Jones (Business Administration),
Tresten Kennard (Interdisciplinary Studies - Behavioral Studies) and
Darren Willis (Interdisciplinary Studies - Public Health.)
One member from each basketball program will receive degrees -
Larry Robinson III (Interdisciplinary Studies- Community & Leadership Development) representing the men's squad, while
Annalise Brisco (Business Administration) will represent the women's squad.
Finally, four members of the Privateers Track & Field program will receive their degrees as well -
Alex Hawkins (Accounting),
Malcolm Simmons (Master's in Business Administration),
Lucas Marcello (Political Science), and
Shayna Yon (Master's in Health Care Management.)
